This year’s Apple Fest theme proudly celebrates the 250th birthday of the United States, honoring our nation’s rich history and the enduring spirit of community that brings us together.

Apple Fest is a cherished Marionville tradition rooted in the town’s rich history. Established in 1854 near seven natural freshwater springs, Marionville grew alongside apple orchards, beautiful Victorian architecture, and its famous population of white squirrels—icons of the community since the 1800s.

Held each year on the third weekend in September, Apple Fest celebrates the heart of apple harvest season and the arrival of autumn. Today, the festival brings together vendors from near and far, a variety of delicious food trucks, and a free kids’ zone for families to enjoy. While many beloved traditions remain, new ones continue to bloom, making Apple Fest a celebration of both Marionville’s past and its future.
